Christina Flint's Egypt Trip -- May-Jun 2000

Christina Flint  <cflint@gfphoto-web.com>

I took the pictures displayed on this web site during my trip to Egypt that was part of a History class from Purdue.  We left West Lafayette on May 19, 2000 and returned on June 03.  In those 16 days, we traveled by plane, bus and boat to several sites within Egypt.

You can see copies of the pictures that I took by selecting either a date or a site/topic from the lists below.  Each page that you choose will contain tables of "thumbnails" (small images).  If you wish to see a larger copy of a picture, simply click on the image that you want to to look at.  Then hit the "back" button on your browser to return to the thumbnail page.  From the thumbnail page, you may return to this page either by the "back" button or by clicking on the "home" link found at the top of each section of the page.

Technical information about these images

There are 580 pictures in this web site that total about 50 Mbytes.  The actual scanned images from which these files were converted take up a total just over 2 Gbytes when stored as maximum JPEG files [level 9 in Adobe Photoshop].  It took approximately 107 hours to scan the negatives, another 49 hours to process them through Photoshop and 8 hours to design the web site and create the Perl program that built it.
